(a) In a city park or natural area the following items are prohibited: itis <br />Unlawful for any Person to use, eaFFY, dispose, or- possess <br />LD Sstyrofoarn products in any eity park or in or upon the waters of the S <br />Marcos River. Styfofoafn pfoduets ;,,,.ludo including, but snot limited to <br />coolers, ice chests, cups, plates, toys, floats, kickboards, rings or swimgeat,. <br />(2) Portable tables, or any type of table unless the department authorizes an <br />event organizer to temporarily erect or install such tables as part of an <br />approved event permit. <br />(3) Tents, tarps , shelters, or umbrellas, other than hand-held umbrellas, except as <br />provided in subsection (c) or when the department authorizes an event organizer to <br />temporarily erect or install such items as part of an approved event permit. <br />(b) Styrofoam linings used as floatation devices or dock supports are exempt <br />from this section if fully encapsulated by water-based acrylic or latex coating, or <br />fully enclosed within the structural framework of a boat. <br />(c) One pop 11p shade tent having dimensions of 12 feet by 12 feet or smaller is <br />permitted at each department -provided fixed picnic table, provided such tent is no <br />farther than 10 feet from the table. <br />SECTION 6. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this Ordinance is <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of <br />this Ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />SECTION 7. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this Ordinance are repealed. <br />SECTION 8.
