Ordinance 2017-31, on the first of two readings, amending the City's 2016-2017 <br />Fiscal Year Budget to add a Full -Time Employment Position for a Deputy Court Clerk; <br />providing procedural provisions; and providing an effective date. <br />13. Ordinance 2017-32, on first and final reading, canvassing returns and declaring <br />results of a Bond Election held within said City on May 6, 2017; declaring an <br />emergency creating the need to adopt this Ordinance with only one reading; and <br />containing other provision incident and related to the purposes; and providing an <br />effective date <br />14. Motion, authorizing the first Regular City Council meeting of July to be moved to <br />July 5, 2017 due to the Independence Day holiday. <br />15. Appointments to fill vacancies on the San Marcos Commission on Children and <br />Youth. <br />16. Request by Becky Collins, Walton Development and Management, to allow an <br />early Preferred Scenario Amendment Process to begin in May, 2017 for Project Zircon <br />and other applicants, and provide direction to staff. <br />17. Regarding the two-way conversion of Guadalupe and LBJ Streets. <br />18. Creation of a City Council Subcommittee consisting of the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tem, and Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission to hold <br />deliberations regarding the Lindsey Hill Project and hold open public forums. <br />The Council received Staff briefings and held discussion regarding items on the <br />agenda for the May 16, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (1-18). <br />Item 46 Staff will provide background information on the Reclaimed Water <br />Expansion Project to Council via email. <br />Item #8 Staff will look into other grant opportunities related to transit. <br />Item #10 Correct the caption of the ordinance to state "Guadalupe and San <br />Antonio Streets". Staff will also inquire if TNCs would consider not <br />implementing surge pricing during the 10pm-3am time period. <br />Item #12 Staff notified the Council that this will be postponed until June 20, <br />2017. <br />ITem #17 Staff will provide the Council with maps and diagrams that had been <br />City of San Marcos Page 3 <br />
