CITY LIBRARY PROPOSITION <br />THE ISSUANCE OF $14,750,000 TAX BONDS FOR CITY LIBRARY FACILITIES AND <br />PROJECTS. <br />Absentee <br />Early Votes <br />Election Day <br />Total <br />FOR: 95 <br />989 <br />621 <br />1,705 <br />AGAINST: 36 <br />262 <br />217 <br />515 <br />3. The City Council officially finds, determines and declares the result of the election to <br />be that all the Propositions so submitted received an affirmative vote and were approved by the <br />voters at the election. <br />4. City Public Safety Proposition, relating to the issuance of $17,450,000`tax bonds for <br />City Public Safety Facilities to include the Police and Fire Departments and related Emergency and <br />Training Facilities, is hereby adopted. <br />5. City Library Proposition, relating to the issuance of $14,750,000 tax bonds for City <br />Library Facilities and Projects, is hereby adopted. <br />6. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public <br />necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be presented at two separate <br />meetings be waived and, this Ordinance will take effect immediately upon adoption. <br />San Marcos May 2017 Election: Cmva sOrdinance <br />
