Ms. Hughson stated <br />the Hays County Infrastructure Committee is alive and well, she will serve for one more meeting <br />and the City Council will need to determine their representative in the near future. Mayor Moore <br />asked who decides the appointments and Ms. Hughson stated each entity determines its own <br />representative. Ms. Hughson stated the terms of most Boards and Commissions vary from two <br />years to three year terms. She stated it may be of value to increase the terms of some Boards <br />from two to three years. Ms. Hughson stated that since Mueller Airport is closing soon, she <br />wants the Council to talk about possible airport development as far as recruitment on what can be <br />done in the next few months before Mueller Airport closes. Mr. Gilley stated the interest of the <br />Council regarding the Airport and its growth is a business development discussion. Mr. Moseley <br />stated his interest in looking at problems of subdivision regulations in the ETJ and would like to <br />see this information on a future agenda. Mr. Cox stated Ms. Witte would like the Council to <br />accept her invitation to come out to Morning Star for the reading of the Literacy Volunteer <br />Appreciation Week Proclamation. Mr. Doiron stated the Budget Workshop held on February 5th <br />and 6th, 1999 was very productive. <br />Mayor Moore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section <br />551.071, to discuss matters where the City Attorney's ethical duty to the City clearly conflicts <br />with Government Code Chapter 551 (development incentive agreements: Purgatory Creek area; <br />Hopkins Street/Thorpe Lane area); and Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the exchange of <br />real property (Comanche well replacement). Mr. Mihalkanin moved to adjourn at 9:09 p.m. and <br />Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Doiron moved to reconvene at 10:13 p.m. and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:15 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Mihalkanin and seconded by Mr. <br />Moseley. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />aliwid ;1z <br />Janis K.
