Attachment 'A' <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> City of San Marcos Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan Update <br /> San Marcos, Texas <br /> The Project generally includes the development of a Parks, Recreation and Open Space <br /> Master Plan (referred to as PROSMP) document for the City of San Marcos Texas, and design <br /> concepts for the San Marcos River corridor. The scope of work includes seven "visits" to San <br /> Marcos at key intervals during the planning process. Visits refers to dedicated time when the <br /> Consultant will conduct staff reviews and discussions, meetings with stakeholders, site <br /> reconnaissance and presentations. Stakeholder and/or planning meetings proposed for each of <br /> those visits will be scheduled on concurrent days and evenings for greater Project efficiency. Items <br /> that occur during each visit are preliminary, and will be confirmed with City staff. The sequence <br /> of visits is as follows: <br /> Visit #1 — Meeting with Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) key staff, tour of city parks <br /> with staff, meeting with key department and City management staff, stakeholder <br /> meetings, initial meeting with Parks and Recreation Board(PARB). <br /> Visit#2—Conduct stakeholder meetings and conduct site reconnaissance. <br /> Visit#3—Conduct review of preliminary recommendations with PARB, assist in briefing of City <br /> Council. <br /> Visit#4—Conduct citywide public open house to review preliminary recommendations. <br /> Visit #5 — Conduct a joint meeting with the PARB and the City Council to discuss preliminary <br /> recommendations and to conduct prioritization exercises and discussion. <br /> Visit#6—Present final draft of the Parks,Recreation and Open Space Master Plan to City Council <br /> for review and recommendation to City Council. <br /> Visit#7—Assist in the presentation of the final Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan to <br /> City Council for review and adoption. <br /> A. SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> Phase 1.00 Project Initiation. <br /> The Consultant will: <br /> 1.01 Project Initiation and Management <br /> a. Project Initiation Teleconference.
