Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was <br /> called to order by Mayor Thomaides at 11:17 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 in the <br /> City Hall Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Present: 8- Mayor John Thomaides, Mayor Pro-Tern Jane Hughson, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa <br /> Prewitt, Council Member Saul Gonzales, Council Member Ed Mihalkanin, Council <br /> Member Scott Gregson, Council Member Melissa Derrick and Angie Ramirez <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> 1. 9:00AM Executive Session in accordance with § 551.074 of the Texas Government Code; <br /> Personnel Matters-to deliberate regarding the selection of a City Manager. <br /> A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tern Hughson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Gregson, to enter into Executive Session at 11:17 a.m. The motion carried by the <br /> following vote: <br /> For: 8- Mayor Thomaides, Mayor Pro-Tern Hughson, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council <br /> Member Gonzales, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Gregson, Council <br /> Member Derrick and Ramirez <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br /> The Council reconvened into open session at 3:04 p.m. <br /> III. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br /> None. <br /> IV.
