Abasement with 50% or more of its perimeter wall <br />area (measured from (finished floor elevation) <br />surrounded by finished grade is not considered <br />a story. <br />DIVISION 4: GROUND FLOOR ELEVATION <br />A. Applicability. The varied upper floor massing <br />requirements apply to buildings in the CT -5 <br />Classification Type that meet the following criteria: <br />1. The building is over five (5) stories in height; and <br />2. The building has a frontage greater than sixty <br />(60)feet in width. <br />B. General Standards. The varied upper floor massing <br />requirements can be achieved through the selection <br />of one of the following alternatives: <br />1. A minimum of forty (40%) percent of the building <br />facade over five (5) stories in height shall be set <br />back a minimum of twenty (20) feet from the <br />front building wall. <br />2.
