Mayor Moore introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor had no report at this meeting. Mayor Moore introduced the City Council's Report. (1) Ms. Hughson stated she attended the Annual Hostage Crisis Seminar, which is a national conference with 200 different agencies. They hold hostage negotiation competition, and our people did great and were highly praised by the judges. (2) Ms. Hughson offered for the Council to come look at the flood control dams on Sink Creek. (3) Ms. Hughson stated she will attend the TML Legislative Meeting on Monday and is looking for a ride or riders. (4) Mr. Cox went to the Neighborhood Council Meeting last Thursday, and it had good attendance. The main topics were streets, drainage and police. (5) Mr. Mihalkanin stated the cities along the IH35 Corridor need to have a meeting. Mayor Moore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the exchange of real property (Comanche Street wells). Affidavits of disclosure were filed with the City Secretary by Mayor Moore, Ms. Hughson, and Messrs. Mihalkanin and Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 9:01 p.m. and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved to reconvene at 10:01 p.m. and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
