ORDINANCE 2009 - 31 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING ARTICLE 2, DIVISION 2 OF <br />CHAPTER 86, WATER CONSERVATION, OF THE SAN MARCOS <br />CITY CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The current water conservation ordinance restricts water to a single <br />designated day per week during time when water restricti? ,are in place. The day is <br />based on the last number of a property address with no flexib?, <br />2. The amended ordinance allows flexibility by giving a prop ?v owner a choice <br />between the originally determined day or a weekend day de ermined ?? -,e last number <br />of the property address. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ; HE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 86, Article 2, Divis?. ? of tr ??. ?.? ? Marcos Land Development <br />Code is amended as follows (underlining indicates a, ?d text, ? indicates deleted <br />text: <br />Section 86.056. Definitions <br />Terms in this division have l? ?cllowin ? meanings unless otherwise specified: <br />De??,?nafed weekday mea ?,, the day within each calendar week for which <br />particular ?s of water use ? ?' awed, based on the last number of the street address <br />for a p?,pen, ,follows: <br />?1) Monday `reet addresses ending with 0 or 1 <br />(2) Tuesday - st yet addresses ending with 2 or 3 <br />(3) Wednesday -street addresses ending with 4 or 5 <br />(4) Thursday -street addresses ending with 6 or 7 <br />(5) Friday -street addresses ending with 8 or 9 <br />Designated weekend day means the day within each calendar week for which particular <br />types of water use are allowed, based on the last number of the street address for a <br />property, as follows: <br />Saturday -street addresses ending with 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 <br />1
