RESOLUTION 2017-143R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A STATE USE CONTRACT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY AND EASTER SEALS -CENTRAL TEXAS AS CERTIFIED BY <br />TIBH INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR VEGETATION AND LITTER CONTROL <br />IN THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $1,110,238.67; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The procurement of services described in the attached agreement with Easter <br />Seals -Central Texas is approved as an exception to competitive bidding requirements, pursuant to <br />the provisions of Chapter 122, Human Resources Code. <br />PART 2. The attached agreement between the City and Easter Seals -Central Texas as <br />certified by TIBH Industries, Inc. for vegetation and litter control in the estimated annual amount <br />of $1,110,238.67 is approved. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute this Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
