Mayor Moore introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil.., OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TERMINATING AN ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH CENTRAL TEXAS ROADS, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF BASE WORK FOR THE CITY'S OVERLAY PROGRAM; AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BOWDEN ROAD COMPANY FOR THE PROVISION OF BASE WORK FOR THE CITY'S OVERLAY PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Doiron moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Moseley seconded the motion. Discussion ensued. On roll call the following vote was recorded: A YE: None. NAY: Hughson, Doiron, Moore, Moseley, Cox, Hernandez, Mihalkanin. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration the consent agenda, including approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 26, 1999, the Minutes of a Special Meeting held May 4, 1999, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of one Ordinance on third and final reading, and adoption of ten Resolutions. The Council removed item 13.A.(1), approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 26, 1999, item 13.B.(2), approval of an Ordinance of second reading, items 13.D.(2), 13.D.(5) and 13.D.(lO), adoption of Resolutions, to be considered separately. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of the Minutes of the Special Meeting held May 4, 1999, approval of an Ordinance of second reading, adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, and adoption of the seven remaining Resolutions, on consensus. Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of these Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of an Ordinance on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCil.., OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 90.131 OF THE CITY CODE TO REDUCE THE REQUIRED HOURS OF OPERATION OF TAXICAB SERVICES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
