RESOLUTION NO. 2017-174R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO ALLOW STEEL POLES AS AN ALTERNATIVE <br />EXTERIOR MATERIAL FOR AN OPEN-AIR PAVILLION AT THE <br />SCHEIB CENTER LOCATED AT 1200 NORTH BISHOP DRIVE; <br />AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO ISSUE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />CONSISTENT WITH THIS RESOLUTION; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The request by Scheib Center, Inc., for a conditional use permit to allow <br />steel poles as an alternative exterior material for an open-air pavilion at 1200 North Bishop Drive <br />is hereby approved, subject to conformance with the plans and specifications submitted with such <br />request and conditions, if any, as imposed by the City Council. [If the City Council imposes <br />conditions, then such conditions shall be described in an exhibit to be attached to and incorporated <br />into this resolution.] <br />PART 2. City staff is hereby authorized to issue a conditional use permit consistent <br />with this resolution. <br />PART 3.
