RESOLUTION NO.2017-171R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br />SAN MARCOS COMMISSION ON CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO <br />ALLOCATE $25,000.00 IN 2016-2017 FISCAL YEAR FUNDING FOR 5 <br />YOUTH PROGRAMS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO IMPLEMENTATION OF <br />THE YOUTH MASTER PLAN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO TAKE SUCH ACTIONS AS ARE NECESSARY TO ENABLE SUCH <br />ALLOCATION OF FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The San Marcos Commission on Children and Youth has recommended that <br />$25,000.00 in 2016-2017 Fiscal Year funds be allocated for 5 youth programs. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The recommendation of the San Marcos Commission on Children and <br />Youth to allocate $25,000.00 in 2016-2017 Fiscal Year funds for 5 youth programs. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take such actions as are necessary <br />to enable the allocation of such funds. <br />PART 3.
