RESOLUTION 2017-184R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A MASTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY AND LOCKWOOD ANDRES AND NEWNAM INC. FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE PURGATORY CREEK WATERSHED <br />STORM DRAIN STUDY IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $252,605.00 <br />CONTINGENT UPON THE ENGINEER'S PROVISION OF SUFFICIENT <br />INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED <br />AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached master agreement between the City and Lockwood, Andrew and <br />Newnam, Inc. for the provision of professional engineering services in connection with the <br />Purgatory Creek Watershed Storm Drain Study in the estimated amount of $252,605.00 is <br />approved contingent upon the Engineer's provision of sufficient insurance in accordance with the <br />attached agreement. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
