Proposed Fee <br /> We propose that the fee for the performance of the scope of work for this project as described in this <br /> proposal be $5,500. The work will be performed as outlined in the General Conditions Included with <br /> this proposal. A Geotechnical Cost Breakdown is presented in the following table. <br /> Scope Item Cost <br /> Mobilization and Drilling <br /> $1,700 <br /> (1 boring to 304) <br /> Traffic Control and Permitting <br /> (lane closure with flagman/police escort) $2,000 <br /> Laboratory Testing <br /> $400 <br /> (soil classification, rock compression) <br /> Engineering and Report $1,400 <br /> TOTAL $5,500 <br /> We will Invoice on a monthly basis. This proposal assumes the following: <br /> • The boring will be drilled using a truck-mounted drill rig; <br /> • The boring will be drilled during daytime hours, from 9 am to 4 pm; <br /> • Traffic control will consist of a lane closure with either a flagman operation and/or police <br /> escort; <br /> • Right to drill and necessary permitting will be facilitated by the project team; and <br /> If an additional boring is desired, we can add one 30-ft deep baring within the same traffic control plan, <br /> presumably on the other side of the box culvert, for an additional fee of$1,000. <br /> Schedule <br /> Upon receiving written authorization, and weather and site conditions permitting, we can perform our <br /> field investigation within 1 to 2 weeks. Drilling of the borehole(s)will take 1 day. Laboratory testing and <br /> reporting will take another 2 to 3 weeks. We will submit a final written report within 4 weeks of formal <br /> authorization. We will keep you verbally informed of our findings as they become available. <br /> Delays sometime occur due to adverse weather, utility clearance requirements, and other factors <br /> outside of our control. In this event,we will communicate the nature of the delay with you and provide a <br /> revised schedule at the earliest possible date. <br /> Mas Job No.2017-947 Page 3 of 4 <br />
