Hays County Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />Members of the Hays MPC participated in multiple activities throughout the planning process, to include: <br />Organize and Review <br />• Kick-Off• Planner’s Survey• City Council/Commissioners <br />• Risk Assessment• Data Collection Court Agenda Items <br />• Mitigation StrategySpreadsheet/GIS Data• Public Survey Posting/ <br />• Planning WorksheetsCollection <br />• Phone Interview <br />Outreach documentation can be found in Appendix A. Meeting Agendas and Action Items are located in <br />Appendix B. Each community’s contributions and participation efforts can be found in their community <br />Annex under Plan Update Process. <br />1.5 Stakeholders Participation <br />Members of the MPC were asked to provide <br />a listing of non-MPC members within their <br />communities who would provide valuable <br />feedback to the plan update process. These <br />non-decision-making planning partners were <br />designated as Stakeholders. This was done <br />using the Planners/Stakeholder Worksheets <br />(Figure 1.4). <br />Stakeholder Invitations/Participation <br />Identified Stakeholders received email <br />invitations to the Planning Update Risk <br />Assessment and Mitigation Strategy Meetings <br />shown in Figure 1.5. Those who attended <br />were involved in discussions/working sessions <br />that took place at each meeting.
