RESOLUTION NO. 2018-70R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FIVE CITY- <br /> OWNED RESIDENTIAL LOTS TO BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR <br /> QUALIFIED RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY THE 2015 FLOODS TO <br /> CONSTRUCT NEW HOMES UNDER THE HOUSING AND URBAN <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT- <br /> DISASTER RECOVERY-RECONSTRUCTION ON CITY-OWNED <br /> PROPERTY ("RCOP") PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO ACT AS THE OFFICIAL <br /> REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY IN MATTERS RELATED TO THE <br /> RCOP PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The allocation of the following City-owned residential lots to be made <br /> available for qualified residents affected by the 2015 floods to construct new homes under the <br /> Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery- <br /> Reconstruction on City-Owned Property (`SCOP") Program is hereby approved: <br /> a. 607 Georgia Street; <br /> b. 330 Ellis Street; <br /> c. 227 Roosevelt Street; <br /> d. 811 Alabama Street; and <br /> e. 603 Centre Street. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee to act as the official representative of the <br /> City in matters related to the RCOP Program. <br /> PART 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after <br /> its passage. <br /> ADOPTED on May 1, 2018. <br /> Jo homaides <br /> Mayor <br />
