City Council Meeting Minutes April 3,2018 <br /> other matters related thereto. <br /> Heather Hurlbert, Director of Finance,introduced Dan Wegmiller,with <br /> Specialized Finance.He provided the timeline of events regarding Certificates <br /> of Obligations and debt issuance. <br /> Council requested that all maintenance projects be listed separately and see if <br /> other sources could be utilized to fund some projects.A policy statement was <br /> also requested to be included if we are catching up on maintenance. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Gregson and seconded by <br /> Council Member Hughson,to approve Resolution 2018-50R. The motion <br /> carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern <br /> Gregson, Council Member Derrick, Council Member Hughson, Mayor Thomaides <br /> and Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 16. Discuss and consider appointments to the Construction Board of Appeals (CBOA), <br /> Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), and San Marcos Youth Commission and <br /> provide direction to Staff. <br /> The following applicants were nominated for consideration to serve on the <br /> Construction Board of Appeals: <br /> Randy Ferrell,Walter Mott, Robert Cotner,Kristin Kibling,Zachary Franks, <br /> Jake Walden,and Tadd Price. <br /> Following a roll call vote all members were unanimously approved for <br /> appointment to the Construction Board of Appeals. <br /> Emma Dray was unanimously approved for appointment to the San Marcos <br /> Youth Commission as the Post Secondary School Representative. <br /> Carlos Mendoza was unanimously approved for appointment to the San <br /> Marcos Youth Commission as the Phoenix Representative. <br /> VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br /> None. <br /> VII.
