RESOLUTION 2018-58R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TEN (10) 2018 <br />DODGE CHARGER POLICE VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT IN THE TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT OF $221,766.00 <br />FROM COWBOY MOTOR COMPANY, LC, THROUGH THE TEXAS <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT PURCHASING COOPERATIVE BUYBOARD <br />CONTRACT FOR VEHICLES, HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS, POLICE <br />MOTORCYCLES, PARTS, AND SERVICE LABOR (BUYBOARD <br />CONTRACT #521-16); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a ten (10) 2018 Dodge Charger Police Vehicles for the police <br />department in the total purchase amount of $221,766.00 from Cowboy Motor Company, LC, <br />through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard contract for vehicles, <br />heavy duty trucks, police motorcycles, parts, and service labor (Buyboard contract #521-16) is <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchase documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
