2018 Update of the Water and Wastewater <br /> Impact Fees for the City of San Marcos <br /> 8. Advisory Committee Actions and Recommendations <br /> The following summarizes the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee activities <br /> during the impact fee updating process: <br /> o On January 23, 2018, the Committee met to: <br /> • Review population and land use information. <br /> • Review Chapter 395 Impact Fee process and requirements; <br /> • Review methodology for maximum fee calculation; <br /> • Review CIP information; <br /> • Review unit cost calculations and maximum fee calculation; and <br /> • Receive draft report for review. <br /> o On February 13, 2018, the Committee met to: <br /> • Approve the Impact Fee Report. By approving this report the Committee found <br /> the following: <br /> • The land use assumptions used in the report are reasonable; <br /> • The UP used in the report is reasonable; and <br /> • The method used to calculate the maximum impact fee is reasonable. <br /> • In addition, the Committee recommends to City Council that the maximum <br /> impact fee amount in this document be adopted. <br /> City of San Marcos 17 F3/ <br /> January 2018 <br />
