SECTION 10. Chapter 34, Article 3, Nuisances, of the San Marcos City Code is hereby <br /> amended to add a new Division 5 as set forth below. <br /> DIVISION 5. VIBRATION <br /> Sec.34.108. Excessive vibration. <br /> No operation or use shall at any time create earth borne vibrations which <br /> when measured at the bounding property line of the source operation exceed the <br /> limits of displacement set forth in the following table in the frequency ranges <br /> specified: <br /> Frequency(C cies Per Second) Displacement(inches) <br /> O to 10 0.001 <br /> 10 to 20 0.0008 <br /> 20 to 30 0.0005 <br /> 30 to 40 0.0004 <br /> 40 and over 0.0003 <br /> Secs. 34.1089-34.125. Reserved. <br /> SECTION 11. Chapter 34, Article 7, Rental Property Standards, of the San Marcos City <br /> Code is hereby amended as set forth below. <br /> ARTICLE 7. RENTAL PROPERTY STANDARDS <br /> DIVISION 1. DEFINITIONS <br /> Sec. 34.801. Definitions. <br /> Unless a provision explicitly states otherwise, the following terms and <br /> phrases, as used in this article, shall have the meanings hereinafter designated. <br /> Where terms are not defined,they shall have their ordinary accepted meanings. <br /> Advertise means the act of drawing the public's attention to a rental unit in <br /> order to promote the availability of the rental unit. <br /> Code official means city marshal or designated official who is charged with <br /> the enforcement of this Code. <br /> Complex. See "Multi-family unit(MFU)". <br /> Duplex Unit (DU)—(nwo family dwelling). As defined by the International <br /> Building and/or Residential Code. <br />
