"Permitted Investments"means any security or obligation or combination thereof permitted <br /> under the Public Funds Investments Act, Chapter 2256, Texas Government Code, as amended or <br /> other applicable law. <br /> "Premium Compound Interest Bonds" means the Bonds on which no interest is paid prior to <br /> maturity, maturing in various amounts and in the aggregate principal amount as set forth in the <br /> Pricing Certificate. <br /> "Pricing Certificate" means each Pricing Certificate of the City's Pricing Officer to be <br /> executed and delivered pursuant to Section 4 hereof in connection with the issuance of one or more <br /> Series of the Bonds. <br /> "Pricing Officer"means the City Manager,acting as the designated pricing officer of the City <br /> to execute the Pricing Certificate. In the absence of the City Manager, the Mayor may act as the <br /> designated pricing officer of the City to execute the Pricing Certificate. <br /> "Rating Agency" means any nationally recognized securities rating agency which has <br /> assigned, at the request of the City, a rating to the Bonds. <br /> "Record Date" means Record Date as defined in Section 6 the Form of Bonds and each <br /> Pricing Certificate. <br /> "Redemption Date" means a date fixed for redemption of any Bond pursuant to the terms of <br /> this Ordinance and each Pricing Certificate. <br /> "Register" or "Registration Books" means the registry system maintained on behalf of the <br /> City by the Registrar in which are listed the names and addresses of the Registered Owners and the <br /> principal amount of Bonds registered in the name of each Registered Owner. <br /> "Replacement Bonds"means the Bonds authorized by the City to be issued in substitution for <br /> lost, apparently destroyed,or wrongfully taken Bonds as provided in Section 10 of this Ordinance. <br /> "Rule" means SEC Rule 15c2-12, as amended from time to time. <br /> "SEC means the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. <br /> "Taxable Bonds" means any Bonds designated by the Pricing Officer in the Pricing <br /> Certificate as Taxable Bonds, the interest on which is includable in the gross income of the owner <br /> thereof for federal income tax purposes. <br /> "Tax-Exempt Bonds" means any of the Bonds designated by the Pricing officer as Tax- <br /> Exempt Bonds, the interest on which is excludable from the gross income of the owner thereof for <br /> federal income tax purposes,pursuant to Section 103 of the Code. <br /> i <br /> A-4 <br /> Sa Nucos 018/B2018.Ord rn nccGO <br />
