Discuss and consider appointments to fill vacancies on the Convention and Visitor <br /> Bureau Board (CVB) and provide direction to Staff. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Gregson, seconded by Mayor <br /> Pro Tem Prewitt,to approve the appointment of Ruth Buck as the Hotel/Motel <br /> +90 rooms representative,James Martin as the museum representative,Dan <br /> Alden as the Texas State representative, and Monte Sheffield as the <br /> Food/Beverage representative on the Convention and Visitor Bureau Board . <br /> The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern <br /> Gregson, Council Member Derrick, Council Member Hughson, Mayor Thomaides <br /> and Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Against: 0 <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> 17. Executive Session item in accordance with Section §551.072 of the Texas Local <br /> Government Code which allows deliberations regarding the purchase, exchange, lease or <br /> value of Real Property: Discuss and deliberate possible options available to the City <br /> related to the property in the vicinity of the intersection of South Edward Gary Street and <br /> South LBJ Drive purchased from Union Pacific Railroad Company in 2013. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Hughson,seconded by Mayor Pro <br /> Tern Prewitt,to enter into Executive Session at 7:39 p.m. The motion carried <br /> by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt,Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Gregson,Council Member Derrick, Council Member Hughson, Mayor Thomaides <br /> and Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Against: 0 <br /> IS.
