RESOLUTION NO. 2018-113R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES, VITAL <br />STATISTICS UNIT, FOR THE PROVISION OF ON-LINE VITAL <br />STATISTICS COMPUTER SERVICES TO THE CITY; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City wishes to participate in the on-line vital statistics computer services program <br />offered by the Texas Department of State Health Services, Vital Statistics Unit. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Contract with the Department of State Health Services, Vital <br />Statistics Unit (Contract No. HHSREV100001023) for the provision of on-line vital statistics <br />computer services is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the Contract on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
