RESOLUTION 2018-127R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A LIST OF QUALIFIED ON-CALL <br /> GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES, MATERIALS TESTING SERVICES, AND <br /> SUBSURFACE UTILITY EXPLORATION FIRMS FOR THEIR <br /> PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES AS <br /> NEEDED IN CONNECTION WITH VARIOUS CITY PROJECTS; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The City issued Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") 217-435 for On-Call Geotechnical <br /> Services, Materials Testing Services, and Subsurface Utility Exploration Services. <br /> 2. On October 12,2017, proposals were received for the services described above. <br /> 3. Subsequently, a selection committee was formed for the purpose of evaluating each <br /> proponent and selecting the most qualified firms for placement on the on-call list. <br /> 4. The on-call list will become effective as of August 7,2018 and will remain in effect until <br /> August 7, 2024 (six years). <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. Based on the evaluator's scores,the following top seven(7) firms are approved <br /> for placement on the City's on-call list of qualified Geotechnical Services, Materials Testing <br /> Services, and Subsurface Utility Exploration Services providers: <br /> Arias and Associates, Inc., San Antonio, Texas <br /> Geotechnical Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000; and Materials Testing <br /> Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 <br /> Fugro Consultants, Inc., Austin, Texas <br /> Geotechnical Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000; and Materials Testing <br /> Services for an amount not-to-exceed$200,000 <br /> Kleinfelder, Inc., Austin, Texas <br /> Geotechnical Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000; and Materials Testing <br /> Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 <br /> Raba Kistner, Inc., Austin, Texas <br /> Geotechnical Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000; and Materials Testing <br /> Services for an amount not-to-exceed $200,000 <br />
