BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos declares its support for the City <br /> of San Marcos's designation as the direct recipient of federal Section 5307 funding allocated to <br /> the San Marcos urbanized area, for the federal funding pursuant to TITLE 49, SUBTITLE III, <br /> CHAPTER 53, SECTION 5307, OF THE UNITED STATES CODE, as amended. <br /> PART 2: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute documents, if any are required, <br /> evidencing the City's support of the City of San Marcos as the direct recipient of FTA Section <br /> 5307 funds. <br /> PART 3: The City Manager is hereby authorized to coordinate actions required by the <br /> CARTS and MPO to support the City's pursuit of Direct Recipient status. <br /> PART 4: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> ADOPTED this 21st day of August, 2018 <br /> Jo Thomaides <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> jl� , tae <br /> tamp ee Case <br /> City C erk <br /> 2 <br />
