RESOLUTION 2018-158R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> LONGVIEW TO GRANT THE CITY OF LONGVIEW AUTHORITY TO <br /> PROCURE UTILITY BILLING OUTSOURCING SERVICES THROUGH <br /> CONTRACT #218-143 UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF TEXAS LOCAL <br /> GOVERNMENT CODE CHAPTER 271; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br /> OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The interlocal agreement with the City of Longview to grant the City of <br /> Longview authority to procure utility billing outsourcing services through contract #218-143 <br /> under the authority of Texas Local Government Code Chapter 271 is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
