(1) <br />Phillip Williams requested help from the City. He stated <br />they have a dead animal in the wall due to the October <br />flood. They have contacted the Health Department and were <br />advised they could not help. (2) John Morrisset expressed <br />reservation with the agenda item to provide $150,000 <br />advertising funding to Tanger. He stated he enjoys <br />shopping at the mall and thinks Tanger was wise in asking <br />for assistance from the City. He stated they are not <br />advertising in Houston, Corpus Christi or Waco and <br />questions the return on the investment. He stated the <br />Council must be prudent with funds and thinks a precedent <br />is being set in offering this assistance with taxpayers' <br />money. He thinks Tanger should be required to prove to the <br />citizens this is a good investment. (3) Susan Narvaiz <br />stated on behalf of Lydia Marie Trevino she wanted to thank <br />the City for its help with the Thanksgiving dinner. Eight <br />hundred dinners were provided to flood victims, homeless <br />and others in need. (4) Dr. Randy Rogers stated he had <br />been before the Council five to six months ago regarding <br />Schulle Canyon and appreciates the progress the Council has <br />made in this regard. He expressed concern for the water <br />pressure in his neighborhood and stated apartments are <br />being built close by that will further impact the pressure. <br />The water line project in their area has not begun. He <br />stated five single-family homes live adjacent to Schulle <br />Canyon, and the homeowners are willing to participate in <br />the purchase of 0.9 acre of property from landowner, Cal
