There were no other speakers so Mayor Moore closed the public hearing. Ms. Hughson moved for adoption of the Budget Policy Statement and Mr. Cox seconded the motion. Mr. Hernandez asked if the tourism funding was to be in-kind. Mayor Moore explained some was to be in-kind and some was to be monetary, such as Summer in the Park. Ms. Hughson moved to amend the Budget Policy Statement to read "San Marcos Horizons"; strike "desired ends" throughout the document and to move Item III to be Item I and renumber accordingly and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Budget Policy Statement. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration reconsideration of two Zoning Ordinances. No one wished to reconsider the Zoning Ordinances, the captions which read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.22 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1304 BISHOP STREET FROM "R-1" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) TO "DP-1" TWO- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
