RESOLUTION 2018-232R <br /> r <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND HAYS COUNTY TO <br /> PROVIDE HAYS COUNTY WITH ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICES FOR <br /> A PAYMENT OF $259,596 TO COVER FEES THROUGH THE END OF <br /> THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR TO BE PAID BY HAYS COUNTY UPON <br /> EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos and Hays <br /> County to provide Hays County with animal shelter services for a payment of$259,596 to cover <br /> costs through the end of the current fiscal year is approved. <br /> PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the. Interlocal <br /> Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code. <br /> r PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the interlocal <br /> agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after <br /> its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this the 12th day of December 2018.
