RESOLUTION NO.2018-215R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW MORE THAN 20 PERCENT OF THE EXTERIOR BUILDING MATERIALS FOR A NEW RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 1141 NORTH INTERSTATE 35 TO BE COMPRISED OF WOOD AND ALLOW THE USE OF AN EXTERIOR INSULATION AND FINISHING SYSTEM ON THE BUILDING; AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO ISSUE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CONSISTENT WITH THIS RESOLUTION; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The request for a conditional use permit to allow more than 20 percent of the exterior building materials for a new restaurant located at 1141 North Interstate 35 to be comprised of wood is hereby approved as well as the request to use an exterior insulation and finishing system on the building, subject to the condition that the building constructed be in substantial accordance with the plans and elevations attached hereto as Exhibit A. PART 2. City staff is hereby authorized to issue a conditional use permit consistent with this resolution. PART 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its passage.
