It is <br />accessed by grade separated interchanges <br />with frontage roads on both sides. <br />o SH 80 serves the east side of San Marcos <br />and connects to RR 12, via Hopkins Street, <br />through downtown. <br />o SH 123, a four -lane facility, originates in <br />Seguin and becomes Guadalupe Street west <br />of IH 35 as it approaches downtown. <br />o SH 21 begins at SH 80 on the east side of <br />San Marcos and runs northeast toward <br />Bastrop County. <br />o Loop 82, also known as Aquarena Springs <br />Drive, begins at IH 35 and runs through San <br />Marcos where it intersects with IH 35 again <br />as CM Allen Parkway. <br />o RR 12 (Wonder World Drive) connects the <br />City of Wimberley and IH 35 on the south <br />side of San Marcos. <br />o Hopkins Street connects with Hunter Road <br />on the west, then joins with SH 80 as a major <br />road through Downtown San Marcos. <br />o Hunter Road connects downtown San <br />Marcos with the cities of Hunter and Gruene, <br />running parallel to IH 35 on the west. <br />o Sessom Drive is a four -lane roadway <br />connecting Academy Street with Aquarena <br />Springs Drive and providing primary access <br />to Texas State University. <br />o Post Road connects University Drive in San <br />Marcos to IH 35 approximately four miles to <br />the north. <br />
