ACCESS MANAGEMENT <br />Cities implement access management programs to limit and <br />consolidate access along roadways. Too many access points, such <br />as driveways in close proximity to each other, can cause congestion <br />and a higher potential for conflicts and crashes. <br />Successful access management programs balance access to <br />businesses, institutions and residences with roadway safety <br />and mobility.
