Mayor Pro-Tern Moseley called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Mr. Moseley introduced the Citizen comment period. speak during this time. No one signed up to Mr. Moseley introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to the Youth Commission. Ms. Tatum moved to appoint Crystal Castaneda (student) to complete a vacancy, which passed unanimously. Mr. Moseley introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 0.46 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 716 PEQUES STREET, FROM ~P" (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT) TO ~MF-2" (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. * Mayor Chiu not present at this meeting. * Ms. Huffman not present at this meeting.
