<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of eight appointments to
<br />the Youth Commission. Mr. Doiron moved to reappoint Crystal Castaneda
<br />(student), reappoint Valarie Rios (student), reappoint Genesis McCoo
<br />(student), reappoint Kyev Tatum (Mitchell Opportunity Ctr.), appoint
<br />Madelyn Smith (Central Texas Medical Ctr.), reappoint Karen Brajcki (Hays
<br />County Health Dept.), reappoint Carol Peters (adult at-large member), and
<br />appoint Karlin Clark (Chamber of Commerce) and Mr. Moseley seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of six appointments to
<br />the Central Texas Higher Education Authority (CTHEA). Mr. Doiron moved to
<br />reappont Sundra Spears, reappoint Robert Lucio and reappoint Gloria
<br />Salazar, Mr. Moseley moved to appoint Marcos Hernandez and appoint Jeana
<br />Fulfer, Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Janet Hale, and Mr. Mayhew moved to
<br />reappoint Al Lowman. On roll call the following vote was recorded:

<br />Texas Higher Education Authority.

<br />the San Marcos Electrical Board. Mr. Doiron moved to reappoint W. Glyn
<br />Landrum (citizen), reappoint Cecil Cowan (SMEU Board) and reappoint
<br />Sheldon Kramer (electrician), which passed unanimously.

<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the
<br />Human Development Commission. No nominations were made, and this will be
<br />rescheduled.

<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to
<br />complete vacancies on the Bond Oversight Committee. Mr. Cox moved to
<br />appoint Elizabeth Wills (Greenbelt Alliance of San Marcos) and appoint
<br />Rolland Hesalroad (San Marcos Council of Neighborhood Associations), which
<br />passed unanimously.
