<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 200 1-~ <br /> <br />98. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br />ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 2.015 <br />ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1200 <br />BLOCK OF WONDER WORLD DRIVE FROM "LB" LIMITED <br />BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On May 8, 2001, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San Marcos <br />held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "LB" Limited Business <br />District to "C" Commercial District for a 2.015 acre tract of property located in the 1200 Block <br />of Wonder World Drive. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />did, on May 8, 2001 consider and vote to approve the request, and has recommended that the <br />request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the <br />2001, regarding the request. <br /> <br />9th day of July <br /> <br />-' <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code pertaining to <br />zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br />ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 114.029 of <br />the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property which is presently <br />zoned "LB" Limited Business District to "C" Commercial District: <br /> <br />Street address: <br /> <br />1200 Block of Wonder World Drive. <br /> <br />Size: <br /> <br />2.015 acres. <br /> <br />Legal description: See the metes and bounds description attached as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 263, page 522, Hays County Deed Records. <br />
