Mayor Chiu called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF HOLLAND STREET NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH L.B.J. DRIVE; APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF THIS RIGHT-OF-WAY TO DANIEL C. ANDERSON AND MARGARET A. JORDAN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Mayhew moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
