Regular Meeting December 10, 2001 Page 10 Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 26, 2001, approval of three Ordinances on second reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of ten Resolutions, approval of Change Order No.6 to the Construction Contract with Du-Mor Enterprises in the amount of $36,185.00 regarding construction of Bishop, Belvin Street 12" Wastewater and Miscellaneous Water Transmission Improvements, and approval to direct Staff to send Notice to BFI Waste Services of Texas, LP, of the City's intent to solicit competitive proposals for solid waste collection and disposal services on consensus. The Council removed Items 18, 20, 23, 24 and 25, adoption of Resolutions, and Item 28, approval of Change Order No.6 to the Construction Contract with Du-Mor in the amount of $36,185.00, to be considered separately. Ms. Tatum moved for approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 26, 2001, approval of the three Ordinances on second reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of the remaining five Resolutions, and approval to direct Staff to send Notice to BFI Waste Services of Texas, LP, of the City's intent to solicit competitive proposals for solid waste collection and disposal services by consensus and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinances on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 114.578 OF THE ZONING CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE TO REVISE REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SPECIFIC USE PERMITS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS AREA ZONING DISTRICT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE 2000-2001 BUDGET TO PROVIDE END-OF-YEAR RECONCILIATION OF REVENUE AND EXPENSES; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADDING A NEW SECTION 78.079 OF THE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONTINUED AD VALOREM TAXATION OF LEASED VEHICLES; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
