City Council Meeting Minutes April 16, 2019
Against: 0
16. Hold discussion regarding the City of San Marcos seeking the State Legislative
designation of "Mermaid Capital of Texas" and any potential resolutions that would be
necessary to accomplish such designation, and provide direction to Staff.
This was brought before Council a few years ago prior to the Mermaid statues
were installed and before the parades.
