The City suspends CenterPoint's proposed effective date for 45 days <br />pursuant to the authority granted the City under Section 104.301 of the Texas Utilities Code. <br />Section 3. The City hires the law firm of Herrera Law & Associates, PLLC, to <br />assist with the review of CenterPoint's request to increase the fixed monthly charge for <br />the purchase of gas by retail customers located within the City. <br />Section 4. The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things <br />conducted in strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, <br />Chapter 551. <br />Section 5.
