Section 307.2 is amended to read as follows: <br />307.2. Permit Required. A permit shall be obtained from the fire code official in <br />accordance with 105.6 prior to kindling a fire for recognized silvicultural or range <br />or wildlife management_ practices, prevention or control of disease or pests. <br />Application for such approval shall only be presented by and permits issued to the <br />owner of the land upon which the fire is to be kindled. <br />Section 307,4.1 is DELETED <br />Section 307.4.2 is DELETED <br />Section 307.4.3 is amended to read as follows: <br />307.4.1 Portable outdoor fireplaces. Portable outdoor fireplaces shall be used in <br />accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and shall not be operated within <br />15 feet of a structure or combustible material. <br />Exception: Portable outdoor fireplaces used at one- and two-family <br />dwellings. <br />Section 307.4.2. add Section 307.4.2 to read as follows: <br />307.4.2 Trench burns. Trench burns shall be conducted in air curtain trenches and <br />in accordance with Section 307.2. <br />Section 308.1.4 is amended to read as follows: <br />308.1.4. Outdoor cooking. Charcoal burners, open flame cooking appliances, LP <br />gas burners, outdoor grills, barbecue grills, or any other outdoor cooking_ appliance <br />that generates sufficient heat to cook in, on, or about the appliance, shall not be <br />operated or stored on balconies or within 15 feet of a structure or combustible <br />material. <br />Exceptions: <br />1.
