No one else wished to speak, so Mayor Chiu closed the public hearing. Mr. Moseley moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion. Mr. Mayhew asked Mr. Grote what the hours of operation would be and Mr. Grote replied 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. every day and Thursday through Saturday, 30 minutes to one hour after the bars close. Ms. Hughson asked how many vehicles they would operate, and Mr. Grote replied they would start with two and add additional vehicles as their business increased. Mr. Moseley asked where they would advertise and was advised flyers in bars, senior citizens, motels, telephone book, newspapers, vehicle repair places, etc. It was noted that the time of operation is determined by ordinance. The Council voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration reconsideration of three Zoning Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider any of these Ordinances. The captions of the Ordinances read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 1.775 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2420 HUNTER ROAD, FROM "CH (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO "pH (PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 108.73 ACRE TRACT OF UNZONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1601 FRANCIS HARRIS ROAD AS "IH (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING AN 8.39 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 2900 BLOCK OF IH35 SOUTH, FROM "I" (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) TO "CH (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 26, 2001, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of four Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of five Resolutions, and approval for use of General Fund Contingency Funds in the amount of $5,520.00 for the Greater San Marcos Youth Summit on consensus. The City Council removed Items 12, approval of Ordinance on second reading, 15 and 16, adoption of Ordinances on third and final reading, 18, adoption of a Resolution, and 22, approval for use of General Fund Contingency Funds for the Youth Summit, to be considered separately.
