411111111M.11 .0°1 <br /> Action PF-2.3.Considering adding community-scale park <br /> amenities at Dudley Johnson/Randy Vetter/Five Mile Dam Park, <br /> and Gary Park. <br /> Currently,these City(and in some cases, non-City) park properties <br /> are predominantly used as special use parks for sporting events. <br /> Gary Park,for example,does not hold regular operating hours <br /> outside of these scheduled events. Due to the size and location of <br /> these properties,these parks provide numerous opportunities for <br /> community-scaled park land to be open to residents year around.As <br /> such,the City could consider opening these parks on a daily basis and, <br /> over time,adding new amenities,such as playscapes(if not currently <br /> available),splash pads, picnic areas and pavilions, internal loop trails, <br /> and lighted,general-access, open play fields. <br /> Action PF-2.4. Make improvements to El Camino Real Park. <br /> El Camino Real Park is another park to be considered for <br /> improvements,the first of which would involve the replacement and <br /> stabilization of the crushed granite trail that connects this park to the <br /> adjacent neighborhood park, as the current composition of the trail is <br /> maintenance intensive.Additionally,the City should consider better <br /> lighting and the development of a three-tiered maintenance plan that <br /> identifies the different levels of maintenance in each area. <br /> Action PF-2.5.
