City Council Meeting Minutes June 4, 2019 <br />*$500K personnel savings <br />Ms. Hurlbert provided there is $269.5 Million in Total Investments for the 2nd <br />Quarter. She also provided the Average Yield to Maturity, Year over Year and <br />the distribution of these investment funds. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />A motion was made by Council Member Mihalkanin, seconded by Council <br />Member Rockeymoore, to approve the consent agenda with the exception of <br />item # 8 and 11. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor <br />Hughson, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council <br />Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />2. Consider approval, by motion, of the following meeting Minutes: <br />A) May 20, 2019 Special Meeting Minutes <br />B) May 21, 2019 Work Session Meeting Minutes <br />C) May 21, 2019 Regular Meeting Minutes <br />3. Consider approval of Ordinance 2019-15, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Chapter 2, Article 3, Division 19 Economic Development Board of the San Marcos City <br />Code by; amending section 2.369 - created; composition; terms; officers; including <br />procedural provisions and providing an effective date. <br />4. Consider approval of Resolution 2019-97R, approving the purchase of four drones and <br />associated equipment from Fix In A Zip, LLC., through the Interlocal Purchasing System <br />(TIPS) Cooperative Contract No. 180-102 in an amount not to exceed $65,000.00 in <br />order to allow the Police Department to participate in the Hays County Unmanned <br />Robotics Team; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute all appropriate <br />documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br />5. Consider approval of Resolution 2019-98R, awarding a Design -Build Construction <br />Agreement to JE Dunn-PGAL, Inc (JE Dunn Construction) in the amount of $786,300.00 <br />for pre -construction phase services for expansion and renovation of the San Marcos <br />Public Library; authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the <br />City; and declaring an effective date. <br />6. Consider approval of Resolution 2019-99R, approving a fourth amendment to the <br />Interlocal Agreement for Commercial Office Lease with Hays County for the WIC Satellite <br />Office at 150 Lockhart Street in Kyle for the purpose of extending the lease term for one <br />additional year; authorizing the City Manager to execute said amendment; and declaring <br />an effective date. <br />7. Consider approval of Resolution 2019-100R, approving a Commercial Lease <br />City of San Marcos Page 4 <br />
