Mr. Mihalkanin moved to appoint Wayne <br />Becak (San Marcos Resident), Mr. Montoya moved to appoint Susan Narvaiz <br />(San Marcos Resident), Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Fred Markham <br />(Industrial Foundation), Mayor Chiu moved to appoint Jane Hughson (San <br />Marcos City Council) and Ted Hindson (Council of Neighborhood <br />Associations), Mr. Cox moved to appoint Don Garrett (San Marcos Resident), <br />Mr. Mayhew moved to appoint Ronda Reagan (Board of Realtors) and Ms. Tatum <br />moved to appoint Richard Garza (Hispanic Chamber of Commerce), which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of four appointments to <br />the Library Board. Mr. Mayhew moved to reappoint Nikki Hendricks and Mr. <br />Mihalkanin moved to reappoint William Mears and reappoint Melvia Randle, <br />which passed unanimously. Mayor Chiu opened the public hearing and <br />asked if anyone wished to speak.
