Hopkins - Lunch and Learn & Executive Session <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the special meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Hughson at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 in <br />the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt arrived after roll call at 11:50 a.m. <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Saul Gonzales, Council Member <br />Melissa Derrick, Mayor Jane Hughson, Council Member Ed Mihalkanin, Council <br />Member Joca Marquez and Council Member Mark Rockeymoore <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.071 of the Government Code - <br />Consultation with Attorney: to receive a staff briefing and deliberate regarding Martindale <br />ETJ matters. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Mihalkanin, seconded by Council <br />Member Rockeymoore, to enter into Executive Session at 11:33 a.m. The <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council <br />Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt <br />2. Consider action, by motion, to provide direction to Staff regarding the following Executive <br />Session in accordance with Section § 551.071 - Consultation with Attorney: to receive a <br />staff briefing and deliberate regarding Martindale ETJ matters. <br />Council returned into open session at 12:05 p.m. Mayor Hughson stated <br />direction was provided to Staff. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />3.
