RESOLUTION NO. 2019-139R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A RENEWAL CONTRACT WITH <br />VEORIDE, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF A DOCKLESS SMART BIKE <br />SYSTEM WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW THE CONTRACT FOR UP TO <br />THREE ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR TERMS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The renewal contract with VeoRide, Inc. for the provision of a dockless smart <br />bike system with the option to renew the contract for up to three additional one-year terms with no <br />cost to the City is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />documents on behalf of the City including any renewals under the same terms and conditions. <br />PART 3.
