Mr. Gilley asked if the Council wished to <br />set a date for the Transportation Workshop with the Council and the Bond Oversight Committee. <br />Mr. Mihalkanin feels the new Council should be able to schedule this meeting, instead of the <br />current Council. Ms. Hughson stated the experienced Council should be making the decisions. <br />The Council agreed to have this Workshop on Mønday, April 17, 2000 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor stated he had no report at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced the City Council's Report. Mr. Hernandez stated he attended the Law <br />Enforcement Appreciation Day and it was a great event. Ms. Hughson asked what is the status <br />regarding the automatic funds transfer for utility bills. Mr. Gilley stated he is currently looking <br />into this issue and that our new software can do this. Mr. Moseley stated the Census response <br />rates for 1999 in Texas were 61 % and the response rates for 2000 in Texas is currently 66%. He <br />would like to encourage everyone fill out as much of their paperwork as possible and return it to <br />the Census. He thanked the Staff for doing excellent work for the Census Committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration an Executive Session pursuant to the Government <br />Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding development incentive <br />proposals (Wonder World Drive/IH35 area) and drainage utility fees.
