City Council <br />Meeting Minutes September 17, 2019 <br />and printed versions of the San Marcos Code: <br />"Former Section 18.120, providing a process allowing a food establishment to <br />apply for a variance to allow dogs on the premises under certain conditions, <br />was repealed by Ordinance No. 2019-30, effective on September 30, 2019. See <br />now, Texas Health and Safety Code, §437.025, effective September 1, 2019, <br />allowing dogs to be present in food establishments under certain conditions." <br />The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor <br />Hughson, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council <br />Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />MAIN MOTION: to approve Ordinance 2019-30, on the first of two readings, <br />as amended. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor <br />Hughson, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council <br />Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />20. Consider approval of Resolution 2019-184R, adopting a revised policy for the <br />reimbursement of Council Member expenses; and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Hughson, seconded by Council Member <br />Derrick, that this Resolution be amended. The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor <br />Hughson, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council <br />Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />A motion was made by Council Member Derrick, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />Prewitt, that this Resolution be approved. The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Council Member Derrick, Mayor <br />Hughson, Council Member Mihalkanin, Council Member Marquez and Council <br />Member Rockeymoore <br />Against: 0 <br />21.
