<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />December 11, 2000 <br /> <br />194. <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Mr. Doiron then moved for adoption of the Resolution approving the terms <br />and conditions of a Property Exchange Agreement with Southwest Texas State <br />Universtiy pertaining to the City's Sessom Drive/ University Drive <br />Intersection Improvements Project and to amend the Resolution with the <br />three amendments contained in the City Attorney's memorandum and Mr. <br />Mayhew seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Doiron, Moseley, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Hughson (disclosure affidavit filed with City Clerk). <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced the City Manager's Report. <br />at this meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Gilley had no report <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced the City Attorney's Report. <br />report at this meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Taylor had no <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced the City Council's Report. On <br />regarding NAFTA in <br />He stated Ms. Tatum <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government <br />Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding <br />pending litigation (Lowman Ranch, Ltd. vs. Tanger Properties); and Section <br />551.086, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has <br />received from a business prospect with which the City is conducting <br />economic development negotiations; or to deliberate the offer of a <br />financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Oak Heights <br />area; South IH35/McCarty Lane area). Mr. Moseley moved the Council <br />adjourn into Executive Session at 9:03 p.m. and Mr. Mayhew seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Doiron moved the Council reconvene at 9:10 p.m. and Ms. Hughson <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:11 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Doiron and <br />seconded by Ms. Hughson. <br /> <br />I~ 'r{ eL": <br /> <br />David Chiu <br />Mayor <br />
